The Alchemy of Nine Dimensions
by Sue Taylor

Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar, by Barbara Hand Clow with Gerry Clow. Hampton Roads Publishing Company, September 2004. Paperback, 384 pp., $16.94.

Back in the mid-nineties, Maya took me to a most unusual seminar by a woman named Barbara Hand Clow. I was struck by the physical appearance of Ms. Clow—she is a youthful, stunning woman with a full head of beautiful snow-white hair. But what was more surprising to me was the subject of Clow's talk.

Clow had just introduced her book The Pleiadian Agenda: A New Cosmology for the Age of Light, and the talk centered on the subject of this book. Clow related how she had made contact with a group of extraterrestrial beings called the Pleiadians. These beings are especially interested in Earth and Earthlings. They feel protective of us and that we can be of aid to them in their own spiritual evolution.

They informed Clow that we (Earthlings) are multi-dimensional and that we have been traumatized by beings from other dimensions and are no longer in touch with our multi-dimensionality.

In the current book, Alchemy of Nine Dimensions: Decoding the Vertical Axis, Crop Circles, and the Mayan Calendar, Ms. Clow has taken the subject further and she describes the nine dimensions of human consciousness revealed to her by Satya, a Pleiadian goddess. Clow and her spouse, Gerry, give us directions on how to access these other dimensions. Humans reside in the third dimension and, even though we are not aware of it, are much influenced by beings from both the higher and lower dimensions.

According to Clow, we humans are rapidly changing and opening to meet a new evolutionary crisis in the year 2012 at the solstice, when the Mayan calendar predicts the end of existence as we have known it. (For more on this transition, see Maya's article, "The Road to 2012," first published in the April 2006 edition of Daykeeper.) Predictors of this coming change are manifested in the crop circles that are especially strong in sections of Britain. Ms. Clow has extensive information on the crop circles and how other dimensions are trying to communicate with us through these geometric figures.

Ms. Clow and her husband take us through each dimension and describe it in scientific detail. They give meditations to help us access the dimension and understand the significance of it and how it affects us on conscious and unconscious levels. They posit that by becoming attuned to the other dimensions we will be able to survive the coming earth changes as galactic beings.

This book is full of information including extensive footnotes, a glossary, a bibliography, and ordering information, as well as e-mail contact to address personal concerns, future offerings, questions and planned seminars. I recommend it for all of us who are interested in what the future holds and how transitions we will encounter can be successfully navigated.
